About
A Clinical Approach Grounded in Real Life
There are many reasons why people seek therapy. Sometimes, it is a specific crisis or life transition that disrupts our sense of balance. Other times, it is a lingering feeling of anxiety, disconnection, or a desire to simply live a more vital, authentic life.
With over 26 years of clinical experience, I have learned that the most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. My practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore these challenges together.
My Philosophy
I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Whether I am working with an individual navigating depression, a couple struggling to communicate, or parents trying to connect with their adolescent, my goal is to move beyond just "managing symptoms." We work toward Psychological Vitality—the ability to live fully, with energy and purpose, even in the face of life's inevitable stressors.
Areas of Specialization
- Anxiety & Depression: Moving from paralysis to action.
- Parenting Support: Bridging the gap between parents and children.
- Couples Counseling: Restoring intimacy and trust.
- Trauma & EMDR: Specialized techniques for processing past events.
My style is active, interactive, and often incorporates humor. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be your true self—flaws, strengths, laughter, and tears included.
